Demon Slayer, my character who became her own hero to rid herself of the demons that plagued her and her family. In this image, a large butterfly flies up near a slain demon, whose form is cocoon-like.

The original five images of Demon Slayer are the basis of an artist's book and a performance with the same title.

This is a digital image. My work combines fragments of painted and drawn imagery, scanned objects and photographs with imaging techniques. This image is printed in two editions, an edition of 3 archival Iris Prints, 30"x21" on Somerset Velvet.
