Morphius, Sleep Artist

Someone is stealing dreams in a Brooklyn neighborhood, and disrupting everyone's sleep. It's Morphius, a conceptual artist, who has stumbled upon a jar with the power to capture dreams. He decides his road to art world fame and fortune is through his Dream Store, where he sells the bottled dreams as high concept art pieces. His best friend, Yusef confronts him, and Nicky, a fourteen year old boy, nicknamed the Dream Catcher, is on to him. It is only a matter of time before everyone else is, too. The story is light hearted, and filled with a cast of double crossing ex-girlfriends, poets, bodega owners, old ladies, cross dressers and tree kissers. Add a touch of the supernatural, and you have Morphius, Sleep Artist.
